About Us

Who We Are

The Electron Microscopy Museum in Nuremberg is a unique institution dedicated to the preservation, demonstration and education in the field of electron microscopy. Our mission is to archive the various stages of electron microscopy development and make them accessible to the public for research and learning. The museum’s concept is built on four pillars: Experience, Explore, Research, and Learn. It targets a wide audience ranging from students and scholars to scientists and interested laypeople. With an array of electron microscopes and related technologies, the museum provides a hands-on approach to understanding this pivotal scientific tool. We offer our visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of electron microscopy and experience it firsthand.
